MKL Construction Corporation, 'the dream builders', is a family owned and operated company which has built a reputation for creating exceptional homes in the Hamptons since 1960. Our founder and CEO is Maurice H. Kouffman who settled in East Hampton in 1959 and has played a pivotal role in the development of the East End.
Mr. Kouffman is a former pilot with several major airlines and flew with the U.S. Air Force in North Africa during the Second World War. He is widely known in aviation circles as one of the founders and the first Captain of El Al Israel Airlines. Phillip Kouffman, Vice President, is responsible for personally managing each MKL project and maintains close contact with all clients to assure that their requirements are met on time and on budget. Heather Kouffman, Assistant Vice President, our controller, is responsible for the smooth operation of our office.
